About
Advanced Systems, Inc.
Since
1977
Advanced Systems,
Inc. was incorporated in 1977 in Greenville South Carolina, and is located
in nearby Easley, South Carolina. Advanced Systems, Inc. is an
informational commodities trading
advisor. Since late 1986 company focus is
developing trading methodologies for futures and options markets.
The most widely known product is the ANTICIPATION trading system.
Company president and trading system developer Wayne Griffith is degreed
in mathematics, physics and psychology,
and began using computers for large-scale modeling and simulation in
1966. Wayne's study of markets and technical
analysis began in 1969, via "Guide
to Commodity Price Forecasting" and "Technical Analysis of Stock Trends".
Full time devotion to market research began in '87 after the enjoyment of
having liquidated all personal and retirement plan stock holdings and
owning nothing except stock index puts and written calls during the crash
of '87. The combination of formal education, market self-study and
experience, and extensive modeling and simulation experience provides a
foundation for developing trading systems for futures and options markets.
Illustrations of Wayne's modeling and
simulation experience follow: For NASA, used rocket test firings
and normative model to develop descriptive simulation model for Saturn V
'moon rocket' propulsion system. Developed model to determine radiation
exposure of Saturn V lunar orbiter. Designed polynomial manipulation
language for use in control system design and analysis. Simulated Apollo
Space Telescope orbit and determined time-phased electrical power to be
generated by solar cells. For IBM client (an electrical utility holding
company), developed system to generate commercial and residential
electrical rate schedules for three states, adhering to government
regulated profitability allowances and billing equitability requirements.
For same client, developed econometric model to determine when to issue
bonds, preferred stock and common stock, quantities, yields, etc. For
Daniel International, supervised programming of maintenance management
software sold internationally for $125,000 more or less per site. For
same company, supervised programming for multi-year, 2.6 million dollar
software development project for king Fahd ibn Abdul Aziz of Saudi
Arabia. Since self-employed, developed
Anticipation futures trading system which has been
ranked #1 by Futures Truth Co. longer than any other system ever.
